When TheHorse.com approached me with their challenge, they had nearly 30 years of content—over 50,000 articles—without a structured classification system. This lack of organization made it difficult to optimize their marketing efforts and provide advertisers with precise targeting capabilities. Manually categorizing the content would have taken a full team over a year, making automation the only viable solution.

I developed a custom WordPress plugin that seamlessly integrated with their existing system. This plugin connected to an internal API, processing each article through a vectorization engine linked to a Pinecone database. The result was an automated classification system that accurately assigned categories and subcategories based on a compatibility index.

In just a few hours, the entire content library was organized—something that would have cost an estimated $144,000 in manual labor. Not only did this automation save time and money, but it also empowered TheHorse.com to serve targeted content more effectively. Advertisers now have access to detailed insights, enabling more strategic and data-driven campaigns.

The system is fully scalable, automatically categorizing new content without any manual effort. Looking ahead, this approach can be extended to other platforms like Vimeo, ensuring long-term adaptability. This project was a great example of how AI can transform content management, drive revenue, and streamline operations with the right implementation.
