Hey you! Welcome to my website.

Who I am?
I've been coding since I was 10 years old, and over the years, I've specialized in web development, AI, DevOps, backend, full stack, and mobile apps. My journey into software engineering started in 2004 when I was 9—my brother gave me a CD course, and I got hooked on learning Visual Basic 6. At the time, I was fascinated by an open-source game called Argentum Online, which my brother played and contributed to. That curiosity turned into a lifelong passion.
My full name is Matías Sanchez Moises or also known as matysanchez online. For some english speaking people my name is hard to pronounce. Think it as: muh-TEE-uhs → /məˈtiː.əs/
- "Ma" sounds like muh (as in must).
- "tí" is stressed and sounds like tee (as in tea).
- "as" sounds like uhs (soft "s").
I enjoy working with small companies, where I can tackle challenges that go beyond just writing code. I love solving problems related to product development and feature creation, but I also have a strong interest in helping software teams succeed. Every team has its own dynamics, and I believe in understanding the people behind the code, adapting strategies to fit the situation, and ensuring the team can thrive.

I see technology as a tool to empower people, businesses, and communities. Whether it's automating workflows, optimizing team performance, or building new products, my goal is to create software that makes a meaningful impact.
I'm also open to freelance work, consulting, and collaborations.

Beyond Coding
I was born in Argentina and have a deep love for traveling, hiking, water sports, cooking, writing, playing the guitar, and composing music. I'm also very social—I enjoy networking, speaking at conferences, and teaching others; I have a YouTube Channel where I teach others about entrepreneuriship (in spanish)
A couple of fun facts:
- When I was 3 years old, I wandered out of my house at night and went to the local police station just to chat with the officers.
- At 16, I became the youngest-ever global finalist of the Microsoft Imagine Cup. To compete in the finals in Australia, I had to legally emancipate myself. That year, I met Argentina’s former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, former Microsoft COO Kevin Turner, and received a diploma signed by Bill Gates and former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer.
What drives me the most is the ability to give back—especially when it means helping my family and friends.
