I am visiting Costa Rica

Since last Sunday, I have been in Costa Rica enjoying a few days in the Caribbean and Pacific.

This is my very first time in this country. One of my travel objectives for this year is to travel more around Central America. This is the second country in the continent I have been to. The first one was Guatemala exactly one year ago.

One famous phrase in Costa Rica is “Pura Vida” and my curiosity made me research why people here say that phrase so much and so often.

Pura Vida was the title of a Mexican film from 1956. Interesting eh?

There’s a full post about it titled “The not so Tico origins of the Costa Rica Phrase “Pura Vida”” by Ticotimes.net. If you want to learn more about it, please read it.

On the next post I will be writing about technology and AI in Costa Rica. Stay tuned.
