About Me

Hey! Welcome to my little piece of the Internet. My name is Matías Sanchez Moises and I am the author of this website. Here I pretend to write regularly different topics: technology, startups, entrepreneurship, personal development, books, personal stuff, and some random stuff.

I was born in Argentina in 1995 and I don’t have a clear memory the first time I have contact with a computer, but I remember playing video games when I was 5 years old.

My childhood was pretty normal like any other kids from that time. I remember going outside and play football (soccer) in the street with my neighborhood, today which seems to be impossible in most of the cities.

When I was 10, Luis, my brother, gift me some CDs with video tutorials about how to code in Visual Basic 6, because I really wanted to learn how to programming in Visual Basic 6. The reason? It was an open-source game named Argentum Online, so I wanted to have my own server to play.

It was really hard at the beginning, all I had was some video tutorials just teaching, I didn’t have an Internet at my home at that time, so I have to go to a cyber-coffee to check for some answer. I remember having a flash drive so I saved the pages with tutorials in HTML format and opened it at my house to read it.

Meanwhile, I was developing my own version of Argentum Online, and after three years of learning how to code in VB6, I think it would be cool if I can design and develop a website for my game. So I taught my self how to code in PHP using the same method for VB6.

After some years of learning PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and creating some institutional websites for friends of my family I learn that Facebook was opening his platform for developers introducing some great features. So I give a try. After creating some dummies games and apps I made the Clickometro. And it was very successful and was played by millions of people worldwide. Please read: Clickometro, to learn more about that story.

It was then when I knew that I want to do that for the rest of my life. And I did! Since then, and hopefully, I dedicated my life and time to create digital products and being an Internet entrepreneur.

This photo was taken in 2005 actually.

From 2010 to 2018 I created different companies and tried different ideas. The most remarkable was Club de Gorras, from 2015 to early 2018 I dedicated full-time and I was able to grow the team from 0 to 15 employees. Sadly I have to close the company earlier in 2019. Click here to read the full story about Club de Gorras.

A one really interesting experience was being a global finalist of Microsoft Imagine Cup Australia 2012 – it helped me to start believing that it is possible to make a living from my passion and to start seeing the tech world as it is.

Right now I spend most of my time serving as a CTO at Royal Legal Solutions a startup from Austin, TX in the legal field and doing serving as a consultant and freelancer for other companies too.
